When I used the MacPro at the Apple Store it felt sluggish compared to my 15 rMBP. I know it would destroy my notebook in cpu and graphoc intensive taks, but in daily use it is kind of slow.

Ya, for stuff like browsing oppo the performance is pretty lackluster. But I can see myself buying one at some point, I need something powerful for school (photoshop, 3DSmax, autocad, etc...)

I do really like the Mac Pro for having what may be one of the first actual changes in computer design in... quite a long time.
